Flowing seamlessly between tropical treetops and marsh meadows is the Art and Danielle Engel-funded ‘Jake’s Cool Critters’ building — a two-story herpetology and ichthyology structure with more than 7,000 square feet of immersive aquatic and terrestrial environments, digital media, learning opportunities and educational classroom spaces. Its wildlife includes fish, amphibians, crocodilians, turtles, snakes, and lizards, including endangered Fijian iguanas.
