Quick serve café with playful design

This new 5,700 square foot project included program areas supporting the San Diego Zoo’s special events catering, and a new quick serve restaurant for the new Wildlife Explorers Basecamp dining area. The Busy Bee Café provides indoor queuing for quick serve menu options in a light filled space connected to large outdoor seating areas. The café is supported with shared back of the house functions to a large catering kitchen supporting special events venues throughout the Zoo.
