Creating a modern gallery and event space in an historic structure.

This adaptive reuse project required the conversion of the historic brick and timber Sterling Hardware Building into an urban Art Gallery and event center. A new steel framed mezzanine, inspired by the old fire escapes on the downtown buildings, provides additional circulation and gallery space with natural daylight from skylights above.
